Hi Stormer, and thanks for your message. I have spent some years trying to find out something about Coletti guitars, also without much success. I now have two of them, folk model on my blog and a stunning art deco archtop as well as one which I think by its construction is a Coletti, but which bears no name. The reason I know about the 50s ones is that a friend inspired by mine bought one on eBay and to our great disappointment it turned out to be a plywood effort with nothing really to recomend it. Tony Revell, a luthier working in Powis told me that in the fifties Coletti let his name be stuck on a range of undistinguished mass produced guitars from (I think) eastern Europe. Having said that, I guess they now have some value just by being old. If you could send me a picture of yours we could probably form some notion of which era it belongs to. By the way, the guitarist Gordon Giltrap has one which he sometimes uses on stage, and may have more information if you contact him through his website.
